The Narrative Lab develops models of strategic and impact media communications that seeks to shape new thinking, perception and imaginaries about the social, cultural and political structures that shape climate and environmental realities of the Global South through lens of people with lived-experiences that are grappling with the historical persecution and neocolonial exploitation of labor through extractivism and corporate impunity by delivering new narratives and in-depth perspectives on how these stories should be told with fairness, empathy, and a sense of social justice.

Journalism + Activism: Impact Reporting with Journalist

Programs delivered under the Narrative Lab takes form of;

  • We work with storytellers to develop under-reported stories that are crucial to driving community-level mobilization in support of new “whole” systems that cater to social, economic and development needs on ground.

  • We work with impact producers and filmmakers, supporting stories and productions that seek to re-visualize the age of anthropocene, providing hope to new generations and strategically unpacking the multi-layered dynamics of our past and present.

  • We host numerous in-person and virtual spaces with the aim of re-aligning and restructuring the global climate discourse around climate justice. Our platform brings together activists, campaigners, journalists, storytellers, policy experts, innovators and so on.
