The Movement Lab draws its strength from coordinating movements and campaigners around emerging issues by designing impact media and strategic comms frameworks to address prominent challenges through the lens of co-creation, strategic partnership and alliance building at regional scale. The Lab sees itself as an anchor and movement weaver in how it facilitates progressive action by connecting networks, movements and campaigners with shared interests of providing solutions to climate and environmental justice issues.

Programs delivered under the Movement Lab takes form of;

  • We host numerous ‘issue-focused’ in-person and virtual spaces with the aim of re-aligning and restructuring the global climate discourse around specific social and environmental justice issues through narrative and strategic comms work.

  • We develop resources and toolkits on specific narrative gaps, usually to support campaigners, filmmakers and storytellers on how to scale their impact stories.

  • Through collaborative spaces, we convene allies across different regions within the Global South to connect  & strengthen initiatives with similar alignment operating as a collective rather than in silos.
